I try to cover all my pain
As I walk down this lane again,
Following me was a shadow knight
Oh God, please show me the light.
I know I lost all that I loved,
Sins I did commit so horrifying,
But what have I done to this world,
Why is it turning so terrifying?
Oh, I would give up everything,
For one more chance,
Just to see their smiling face again, before,
With the Devil, my last dance.
She tempts so many,
So many in her trap, lured,
She comes like a gentle breeze and whispers sweet nothings,
Slowly in the throats so gasping, Death she poured.
Maybe it was all a part of her masterpiece,
Taking me along,
I still remember, as she faded into the mist,
Her lips, singing the last song.
